Zileh Flatweave: On account of their specific technique, such flatwoven rugs with a ribbed surface are known as zileh or zilu in Anatolia. The example offered here was made in a village in the southern Taurus Mountains; its archaic design of large, offset hexagons, each enclosing a stepped polygon, is fascinating. – Good condition.
