Aksaray Kilim,
Central Anatolia (Turkey), ca. 426 x 187 cm, 19th century, one-piece slit kilim with simple contour and partly wrapped contour wefts, these kilims with large medallions and projecting double hooks belong to a rare group, the piece is in an excellent state of preservation, all sides complete and original, no mentionable repairs.
