MEDIUM OR TECHNIQUE
Cut and voided silk velvet brocaded with gilt-metal wrapped thread

Ground: dark neutral cut silk pile. Design: conventional fruit within a circular and ogival frame, brocaded with gold (gilded silver wound on yellow silk). The ground is detailed with reddish violet satin. Weft: reddish orange cotton.
