Heriz Silk Rug Judging by its style of drawing, generous composition, wide format and patinated colours, this silk carpet with a niche design and two columns is probably one of the oldest surviving examples of its kind. Its likely provenance is the surroundings of Heriz. Obvious signs of age, several holes and tears, backed with linen.
