Heriz Silk Rug Judging by its style of drawing, generous composition, wide format and patinated colours, this silk carpet with a niche design and two columns is probably one of the oldest surviving examples of its kind. Its likely provenance is the surroundings of Heriz. – Obvious signs of age, several holes and tears, backed with linen.
