Dragon carpet (red ground), late 18th century, Khanate Period, Azerbaijan.  Türk ve İslam Eserleri Museum, Istanbul. Acquired 9 April 1915. inv. no 97 (3076) from the library of Köse Ömer at Erzurum. 200 x 386 cm. published Serare Yetkin's "Early Caucasian carpets in Turkey", plate 21.  Debased design, trellis pattern formed by dark blue and dark yellow bands in place of the usual leaves.
