Kurdish Rug: A Kurdish village rug, with a midnight blue field and a wide yellow border. The field design consists of two large, blazing red palmettes alternating with two green rosettes outlined in white, embedded in a dense basic pattern of flowers, diamonds and twigs. Two small human figures are depicted in the lower section near the end. Original finishes all around, slight signs of wear and small repairs.
