Zakatale
A small Zakatale in dark colours. The field, whose ground colour alternates between beige, dusky pink, earth brown, red-brown and indigo blue, has an unconventional design of amulets, checked box shapes, diamonds and a large hook shape at the lower end, as well as a row of abstract human figures. The boxes in the red-ground main border, divided into eight segments, are reminiscent of the designs seen in Talish carpets. – Both ends repiled, otherwise well preserved.
