Karakecili: Heavily damaged, this Karakecili survives in fragmented condition, and is likely to be one of the oldest examples of its kind. The characteristic design of large, interlocked, hooked diamonds is more spacious in layout and richer in detail than later pieces. The border design is particularly impressive.
