Lot: 14 Karakecili: Heavily damaged, this Karakecili survives in
fragmented condition, and is likely to be one of the oldest examples of
its kind. The characteristic design of large, interlocked, hooked diamonds
is more spacious in layout and richer in detail than later pieces. The
border design is particularly impressive. Origin: North West Anatolia,
Bergama region Dimensions: 247 x 187 cm Age: First half 19th century
Estimate: 4,500.00
