Northwest Anatolia (Turkey), made before 1800, approx. 215 x 212 cm, earlier nomadic carpet in a square format, despite its poor condition, this piece is among the top in its very rare group of rugs due to its irregular archaic design, both ends with original kilim ends, side edges trimmed and unprofessionally edged, consistent low pile with various darned areas and worn parts.
