Yüncü Kilim This flatwoven cover by the Yüncü tribe from the mountainous hinterland of the Bergama region is more finely woven than usual and executed with particular care. The design of wide horizontal bands in brown, red, blue and white is accentuated by fine dividing stripes containing brocaded designs. The warps have been braided into plaits at both ends. – Partially restored sides, several small rewoven sections, otherwise in very good condition.
