We intended these 38 squares here to represent 38 ankhs (key of life)
which are the symbol of eternal life.
The sarcophagi of
Egyptian pharaohs were often adorned with 38 statues of cat guardians and ankhs.

with wings and legs. This symbol was thought to help a woman become pregnant.
