Northwest Anatolia (Turkey), made circa 1870, approx.183 x 155 cm, square village carpet from the mountain region around Bergama, with the local ethnic mix it is not surprising to find Caucasian design influences in the carpet such as the classic 1 + 4 theme, consistent good pile condition, typical kilim ends no longer present, side edges cut and secured with repaired Shirazi.
