Konya Prayer Rug - This rare prayer rug with a red field, blue corner spandrels and an apricot border belongs to the same group as four examples published by Butterweck, which the author attributes to the Micaliccik region in north western Central Anatolia. With the exception of the border design, our piece is largely identical to Butterweck’s no. 212. – Several rewoven areas, partially restored sides, now in good condition.
