Antique Kuba rug with stepped medallions and tree of life motifs

Size (ft): 3'10"x6'0"

Structure: wool pile, tan wool warps and dark brown wool wefts

Knots: Gördes (Turkish, symmetrical)

Description: The shaded indigo field with two large stepped medallions flanked by two half stepped medallions containing tree of life motifs, four smller stepped guls on top and bottom, all in a series of meander "S" motif main border and barber-pole stripes. Very good condition. Good pile.
