Antique Shirvan Marasali prayer rug in a dark blue ground

Size: 94x155cm

Size (ft): 3'8"x5'1"

Knots: Gördes (Turkish, symmetrical)

Condition: Good condition, fine weave.

Design: The dark indigo field with diagonal rows of polychrome serrated botehs, the indigo mihrab arch above with an ivory keel arch of angular vine, in an ivory border of "bird" motif, between dark blue grounded polychrome star minor borders
