Caucasian Kazak Kilseli Rug (also mistakenly named as Kazak Sewan)
Size: 160x235cm
Size (ft): 5'2"x7'8"
Area: 3.76 m2
Density: 110 000 knots per square meter
Dyes: 100% natural dyes: madder, spurge / euphorbia, indigo, pomegranate skins, walnut husks
Materials: Handcarded and handspun wool for pile, wool warps and madder dyed red wefts
Handwoven in Azerbaijan

Design: The madder red field with various tribal symbols and small rosettes together with single life tree motif in each corner around large green shield containing hooked bars enclosing central ivory and brick-red hooked and floral panel, in dark indigo blue border of polychrome rosettes enclosed by arabesques between spurge ground yellow wavy stripes, outer barber-pole and plain stripes
