Materials: Handcarded and handspun wool for pile, wool warps and cotton wefts
Hand knotted in Azerbaijan
Design: Memling gul cruciforms (Moghan Qarmaqly-Hooked) motifs in golden yellow, light yellow, mid blue, light blue, madder red, green and ivory are arranged in alternating horizontal rows to fill the midnight blue field; red/light blue inner and outer medakhill guards enclose four borders - two colorful flower (or arrow head) pattern, a polychrome star motif minor border and a classic Chichi main border of rosettes and slanting bars.
