A FACHRALO RUG
South Caucasus, circa 1890
The fox-brown field field with radiating flowerheads at one end around a large central panel containing similar flowerheads together with hooked panels enclosing an ivory and blue hooked medallion containing a square centrepiece issuing hooked vine, in a polychrome stylised glass and serrated leaf border between blue and green minor flowerheads and barber-pole stripes, minor repiling, small surface stain
