Sewan Kazak,
Southwest Caucasus, dated 1905, approx. 252 x 158 cm, these carpets around Lake Sevan are also called "shield kazaks", the present piece displays only slight traces of wear, except for low pile in the oxidized brown sections, ends original, some repairs. (MA)
