Antique Bordjalou rug woven by local Karapapakh Turks, so called "Sewan Kazak" rug, late 19th century, Borchaly / Bordjalou Uyezd

Sevan Kazak: A red-ground Sevan Kazak displaying a wide green shield shape, a blue main border of hooked diamonds and two yellow guard stripes containing ‘S’-motifs. – Original finishes all around. Low pile, various repiled sections.
