Azerbaijan carpet, transitional type, late 18th century. Türk ve İslam Eserleri Museum, Istanbul. Acquired 24 August 1923. inv. no 726 (4019). 245 x 475 cm, published Serare Yetkin's "Early Caucasian carpets in Turkey", plate 28. Design: red ground. Pattern on three axes. Designs are arranged symmetrically around a multi pointed large white central star.
