 Karabagh long rug  Lampa, Azerbaijan

Ian Bennett's notes on this rug: "Exceptionally long and narrow rugs are often found with the Lampa-Karabagh design, of which this piece, approximately 19ft. There is a possibility that such rugs were woven for the Western market. In my view it could be as late as late 19th century"
