Antique Kazak rug with Moghan (Memling) Guls, 19th century, Azerbaijan.
6'.9"x4'.3" (206x130 cm). Four Memling guls are enclosed in red, yellow and green octagons on an electric blue field. A light scattering of ivory dots further enlivens the pattern. The inner yellow border adds elegance and charm to the rug. The red main border is in calyx and slanted leaf design. H. Manoyan Antique Rugs
