Antique Kuba long rug with Afshan Güls, late 19th century, Southern Kuba Region, North East Azerbaijan.

Kuba Long Rug A blue-ground Kuba long rug with a dense pattern of star-shaped blossoms, a main crab border and two secondary carnation borders. The same field design was used in the Shirvan region, but the structural features show that this long rug was definitely made in Kuba. – Sides newly overcast, signs of wear in the pile.
