An antique Kuba rug
The deep indigo field with various polychrome angular foral panels and hooked lozenges together with bold split palmettes around central rust-red floral octagon containing hooked centrepiece, in rust-red broad border of polychrome palmettes and angular floral vine between charcoal-black angular floral vine stripes, outer panelled and barber-pole stripes, plated kilim at each end , very slightly corroded black otherwise good condition --198cm. x 147cm.(6ft.6in. x 4ft.10in.)
