Antique Kuba Alpan or Seychour rug, late 19th century, Northern Hillside Kuba Region, North East Azerbaijan

Zeikhur A Zeikhur with a carnation design in pastel shades on a sea green field and an asymmetrical border design. This pattern was commonly used for longer carpets, and is far more rarely seen in small formats. – Blue, flat-woven original selvedges, both ends newly overcast. Slight signs of wear in the pile, several minor darned areas.
