A beautiful example of so called Kuba Bijov rug, second half 19th century, Southern Hillside Kuba Region, Devechi (Divichi)-Shabran District, possibly Biliji village, North East Azerbaijan, published at Luciano Coen & Louise Duncan's "The Oriental Rug" plate no: 75, 4'6" x 3'3", 100 x 140 cm, 116 knots per square inch (1850 per dm2).
