Antique Caucasian Kuba Khyrda Gül Chichi ("Khirdagyd-Chichi") runner, second half 19th century, Azerbaijan, Dere Chichi village.

Note: Although that this rug is labeled as Talish in Ebay, possibly because of its oblong runner shape, this attribution is wrong. This is a Kuba rug, perhaps of Chichi origin. Because of its yellow ground, well structured design and fine weaving, this rug should be considered as an important piece. Size: 2'6'' x 11'2'''. 1870's.
