Lot Description
38-A very unusual part silk Konaghend narrow kelleh

the indigo field with various birds, animals and angular floral panels around two ivory large shaped lattice panels, each with hooked shaded brick-red medallion containing small hooked panels enclosing shaded indigo stylised radiating floral centrepiece, in shaded brick-red crab-rosette border between shaded charcoal-black angular floral meander stripes, outer barber-pole stripes, plated kilim at each end, dated AH 1313 (1895 AD), good condition, 363cm x 140cm.(11ft.11in. x 4ft.7in.)
