EAST CAUCASUS, CIRCA 1880
The shaded light blue field with a vertical column of linked serrated floral sprays surrounded by various polychrome geometric motifs and animal figures, in an ivory polychrome "S" and geometric motif border between chocolate-brown flowerhead and reciprocal skittle-pattern minor stripes, overall good pile, naturally corroded brown, scattered small repairs and minor repiling, selvages replaced 10ft.8in. x 3ft.5in. (324cm. x 104cm.)
