Lot Description
A fine unusual Konagkend large rug
the shaded rust field with octagonal medallions, stepped rosette panels, stylised dart-motifs, birds and flowerheads around large stepped central medallion with various hooked bars enclosing floral octagon centrepiece, in an ivory and rust double border of kufic pattern and various palmettes and rosettes between charcoal-black angular floral meander stripes, outer barber-pole and plain stripes, slightly corroded black, very slight localized staining on ends --305cm. x 198cm.(10ft. x 6ft.6in.)
