Afshan Pattern floral carpet (red ground), 18th century, Khanate Period, Kuba or Baku Region, Azerbaijan. Türk ve İslam Eserleri Museum, Istanbul. Acquired 1911. inv. no 177 (774) from the Mosque of Hizir Bey, Isparta. 200 x 393 cm. The principals ornaments are yellow and blue cartouches with blue and yellow rosettes containing small yellow and brown rosettes respectively, decorated with small leaves and dots.
