Afshan Pattern floral carpet (dark blue ground), 18th century, Khanate Period, Azerbaijan. Türk ve İslam Eserleri Museum, Istanbul. Acquired 1929. inv. no 718 (553) from the Mosque of Ferruh Kethuda at Balat (Milet). 284 x 670 cm. Vertical lines of rosettes within round cartouches alternating with eight pointed stars joined by a white stem.
