Afshan Pattern floral carpet (blue ground), late 18th/early 19th century, Kuba or Baku Region, Azerbaijan. Türk ve İslam Eserleri Museum, Istanbul. Acquired 1936. inv. no 884 (1-5) from Evkaf Depot, Amasya. 240 x 550 cm. Rows of vertical yellow rosettes on three axes are separated by rows of large palmettes on a green curved stem with white or yeloow arabesque ornaments at one end.
