Afshan Pattern floral carpet (light and dark blue ground), 18th century, early Khanate Period, Kuba or Baku Region, Azerbaijan. Türk ve İslam Eserleri Museum, Istanbul. Acquired 1915. inv. no 713 (3058) from the Mosque of Murad Pasha, Erzurum. 286 x 688 cm. Purple and green stars alternate with round yellow and red cartouche-shaped rosettes, outlined in brown.
