A SEYCHOUR SOUMAC CARPET
EAST CAUCASUS, CIRCA 1800
The shaded light blue and green field with an overall design of diagonal rows
of polychrome stylised blossoms in a pink border of angular floral meander
between polychrome serrated leaf and stylised glass stripes, areas of wear,
selvages rebound, ends complete with fringe slightly untangling
8ft.10in. x 3ft.1in. (268cm. x 94cm.)
