A SEYCHOUR RUNNER
East Caucasus, circa 1880
The shaded emerald-green field with an overall irregular brown lattice overlaid by three shaded brown cusped oval medallions containing stylised floral wreaths, paired part floral bouquets between each sometimes containing paired animals, in an indigo border of hooked tendrils issuing occasional leaves linking bold rococo panels with floral sprays extending into the field between narrow plain stripes, braided warps at one end, corroded browns, very slight repiling, slight loss at one end
