An antique Shirvan rug
the dark blue field with checkered panels, floral octagons together with hooked panels, animals and human figures around single column of large stepped hexagonal medallions containing similar motifs, in broad shaded charcoal kufic border between yellow and green hooked S-motif stripes, outer reciprocal, and barber-pole stripes, small scattered repairs, replaced code at each side otherwise good condition - 289cm. x 109cm.(9ft.6in. x 3ft.7in.)
