EAST CAUCASUS, CIRCA 1870
The shaded tomato-red field with a variety of motifs including flowerheads and cartouches containing geometric motifs surrounding a serrated stripe surrounding blue and green lozenge medallions containing similar motifs, in a yellow border of stylised motifs between blue rosette, barber-pole and hooked stripes, areas of wear, selvage replaced, ends complete
