EAST CAUCASUS, CIRCA 1890
The chocolate-brown field scattered with a wide variety of floral motifs, birds and minor motifs around three large radiating red and ivory medallions containing similar motifs around hooked radiating floral centres, in an ivory border of diagonal hooked motifs between reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes, slight corrosion, scattered repairs 6ft.6in. x 4ft.2in. (198cm. x 127cm.)
