North Caucasus, circa 1850
The shaded blue field scattered with minor motifs and flowerheads around a central radiating medallion containing a stepped hooked panel with similar motifs, green and light blue panels containing hooked motifs and stylised flowerheads above and below, in an ivory running-dog border together with hooked diamond panels between shaded rust flowerhead and barber-pole stripes, slight localised wear
