437 This example seems totally atypical of east Caucasian weaving; it hails almost certainly from further west, possibly from Moghan or Gendje. An almost identical example in Victoria and Albert Museum has been attributed to the Kazak-Gendje region (cf. Hali, vol. 7, no. 2, p.100, fig. 12). Second half 19th century. 168 x 118 cm
