South East Caucasus, circa 1870
The shaded blue field with overall rosettes together with stylised palmettes
issuing angular vine, in a brown border with flowerheads between reciprocal
skittle-pattern and barber-pole stripes, slight corrosive brown, slight wear
6ft. x 2ft.3in. (183cm. x 68.5cm.)
