37-An antique Akstafa long rug
the abrashed indigo field with four sea-blue, ivory and rust shaped medallions, each containing central angular cruciform motif and hooked lozenges flanked by stylised large birds, checkered octagons and hooked bars, in an ivory border of of polychrome hooked panels and animals between reciprocal skittle-pattern and barber-pole stripes, slight localized wear, re-wool cord at each side --256cm. x 109cm.(8ft.5in. x 3ft.7in.)
