Shirvan Prayer Rug The white field of this East Caucasian prayer rug presents a characteristic diamond lattice of dark blue serrated leaves enclosing flowering plants. A vermilion form resembling a tower is seen below the bridge-like prayer arch. The wide border section consists of four panels. An extremely fine weave. – Both ends somewhat reduced, new overcasting along the sides. Uniformly low pile.
