Daghestan Prayer Rug Comparatively coarse in weave and flexible in handle, this white-ground prayer rug was probably made in Daghestan. Prayer rugs from the Shirvan and Daghestan regions are so similar in design and colour scheme that a precise attribution is often difficult. – Original finishes all around, one stitched tear, restored areas.
