Four medallions with three different ground colours extend to the border system a dominate the central field. Hook-rimmed diamonds take the place of the bird figures typical of this group, though one can make out a number of small animals. Two different compositions alternate in the centre of the medallions. The main border presents the well-known shamdan (candelabra) or mashaal (torch) pattern.
