The dark reddish-brown central field consists of altenating and staggered rows of giant palmettes in various colours.
These are shield palmettes, termed fetir(pitta dough) and hook-rimmed wreath-palmettes syunbul daragy (braided grain
head). L.Kerimov claims that the whole composition is called bereket (blessing, abundance, excess).
The main border presents a simple row of double S forms in different colours flanked by reciprocal crenellated strips
